Prisoner of War Room

This nationally recognized display is one of the most complete collections of POW history and memorabilia in existence.

 

The Johnson Photo Room

Comprehensive pictorial history of the area from the 1800s to the present.

Artifacts from WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm and Iraq...a real tribute to our American heroes.

The Dr. Baxter Room

Treatment room of our beloved town doctor and friend, Dr. James H. Baxter.

Avon bottle collection spanning 43 years.

 

 

 

Railroad History

The importance of the Railroad to this area is reflected in the handmade diorama of Rodeo, New Mexico.

Lordsburg Airport

Charles Lindbergh lands in Lordsburg, September 1927, to promote aviation and dedicate the airport, the oldest in the State of New Mexico.

Hidalgo County Cattle Growers Association Hall of Fame Room

 

Honoring area ranchers who have made a positive impact on the Hidalgo County ranching industry.

The Lordsburg-Hidalgo County Museum is non-profit and operated in part by volunteers. Exhibit items are donated by area citizens.
