His subject is primarily the Female Figure and has worked in styles
ranging from Hard-Edge Graphics, to Oils, to his Own Softer Style in
Watercolors and Pastels. He is also a well known Bronze Sculptor.
Through the use of the female figure he tries to elicit an emotional
response. "In my paintings and drawings, I focus more on a woman's face
and eyes, on her expression. In my sculptures, the emotions change
as the viewer moves around the figure and so my focus shifts to the curves
and contours or the female body and how the hair and clothes flow and
accentuate those curves and contours."
His artworks have been collect by private collectors in Los Angeles,
Malibu, Scottsdale, Tucson, and else where in the county and have appeared
in Southwest Art, Art Gallery International, American Art Review, ArtLife
AZ, and other publications and art shows.
NM Governor, Bill Richardson owns one of his sculptures that the
Hidalgo County Chamber of Commerce presented to him in 2003. His works can
be seen at his studio gallery in Rodeo, NM, at the Metz Gallery in Tubac,
AZ, and on his web site at
